Candle Light Vigil for Brandon Hendricks, 17. Brandon just graduated from Metropolitan Soundview High School last week and he needed a little cash — and some advice — before heading out for a friend’s birthday barbeque on Sunday. Hours before a college-bound Bronx basketball star was fatally shot, he made a quick phone call to his uncle to talk about the future.

His last words were, “Call my mom. Make sure you call my mom bro.’” -Brandon Hendricks

Tonight, we joined the parents of Brandon Hendricks who was murdered 3 days after graduating.
