Deborah Ann Sewell, is best known for her current position as Managing Director of the Love Foundation and Co-host of the Love Morning Show. She previously served on the board of directors of Love Foundation and is credited by Dr. Rene Villanueva Sr. for sparking the idea of the Foundation by insisting that the company’s philanthropic endeavors should be separated from its for profit company. Prior to accepting the role as managing director, she held key roles in Westchester County, New York and in Stamford, Connecticut where she has lived for the past thirty five years.
Her long history of leadership and volunteer service with local and national nonprofits in theUnitedStates has beenrecognized with numerous awards. She is credited for her success in developing many youth development programs in the State of New York and Connecticut such as ALTA, Yerwood Youth Ambassadors as well as a school and orphanage in Hinche, Haiti.
Debroah is recognized for using Balanced literacy and Integrated Learning Strategies to generate record breaking academic successes among failing students in schools. Her accomplishments in the field of Youth Development and Education has garnered national interest and are currently being used as best practice models in Belize, Central America.
Since taking on the challenge of bringing the Love Foundation to life four years ago, Deborah has garnered the respect of the United States Department of State and has raised more than $1M in funding that has allowed the Love Foundation to create sustainable opportunities in areas of education, social and economic empowerment and community revitalization for more than 1,200 youth ages 8-29 and their families.
Deborah holds a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Empire State College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Broadcast Journalism from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
