International Women’s Day was hosted by Cheryl Brannan who hosted an astronomical event yesterday at the Yonkers Public Library. “The State of Black Women & Girls in Westchester 2020”. We are collectively PRESENT for change & our girls will be protected by us! Our Black Girls will not be PUSHED OUT on our watch!!!
Tha Brown Urban Mother Partnership attended and served on a panel for the Black Woman Girl Child Projects State of the Black Woman and Child in Westchester County Conference. It was a day packed with critical discussion on the school to prison pipeline, health equity, fiscal mobility, education, etc.
