Tha B.U.M.P Supports Black Girls Bake

Icing and candy and cupcakes galore! Children with smiles and parents at the door! Black Girls Bake hosted their first “Gingerbread House Party.” Black Girls Bake was founded by Miesha the CEO of Cupcake Cutie Boutique located on 8 South 6th Avenue., Mount Vernon, New York.

An evening of music and intentionally being creative. Girls and boys joined the fun of decorating with sweets and treats. Tha Brown Urban Mother Partnership CEO Cynthia Turnquest-Jones joined Black Girls Bake by reading aloud “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie” by Laura Numeroff and personal reindeer mugs for each child by Crate & Barrel.

Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated provided new book bags for the young scholars to start their new year off in style. Black Girls Bake believe that having fun and learning at the same time is fundamental. Councilman Andre Wallace provided The Embassy 28 East 1st Street., Mount Vernon, New York to host this wonderful event.

Miesha is encouraging young minds and soul through the art of baking! With ❤️ Cynthia
